Side tables/end tables are necessary in every space. They provide a surface for beverages, lamps, books, and anything else you might want elevated off the ground. Not only are they incredibly functional, but as is evidenced below, they can be incredibly chic and fashionable.
I have scoured the internet in search of some of my absolute favorite side and end tables. They are contemporary, visually appealing, and practical – must haves in any space.
Without further adieu, here they are!
5 Side Tables You Do Not Want to Miss:
1. Crate and Barrel Entu Side Table
I love the design of this table. It’s interesting from every angle – which means you can angle it any way you want. The wood provides warmth while the shape of the table makes it very contemporary. It is the perfect marriage of old and new.
2. Sunpan Union Modern End Table
This polished concrete table shouts masculine design. I absolutely love it! Its shape makes it contemporary and visually interesting, while its composition makes it super solid and functional. I picture this piece in a downtown loft.
3. Jacques 2-Tier Side Table by Jonathan Adler
This side table is simply stunning. Its Hollywood Regency meets modern-day-contemporary-glamorous design. It will elevate any space it inhabits.
4. Lucida Side Table by Crate & Barrel
Its no secret that I love metallic accents. Mixing metals into your space creates depth and this table is an example of that. The shape is playful and fun, yet still functional, and the coppery color provides warmth. I would love to see two of these on either side of a grey velvet chesterfield sofa.
5. BOND END TABLE by Jonathan Adler
This table is perfectly named. It does seem like its straight out of a James Bond movie. The lucite base provides the illusion that the burled mappa top is floating – giving it a dangerous, yet intriguing feel. It comes complete with a fully finished drawer and a hidden pull (see… this is right out of a Bond film). Love it!
What do you think of these side tables? Would you purchase any of them for your space? I would love to hear from you!
