Lowboy

Lowboy:

A lowboy is a low chest or table with drawers and short legs.

According to Wikipedia, “A lowboy is an American collectors term for one type of dressing table, or vanity.[1] It is a small table with one or two rows of drawers, so called in contradistinction to the tallboy or highboy chest of drawers.”

Lowboys make for great dressing tables and provide a touch of extra storage – and who doesn’t need that?

As you can see from the examples above, lowboys are very versatile pieces of furniture.  Use them as nightstands, dressers, side tables, or dressing tables – the options are a plenty!
