Brocade is a thick, heavy textile with a raised design that resembles embroidery.
It is usually composed of silk, rayon, nylon, or polyester. Brocade dates back to the middle ages and is still relevant today – talk about timeless style!

Depending on your interior design preferences, brocade may or may not be for you. I find it works quite well in more traditional spaces, though in the right pattern and color, it can work in contemporary spaces, as well.
